Firearms Rental, Range Use Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and Range Rules

In consideration of being allowed to enter or use the Briggs Core Dynamics, Inc (hereafter identified as BCD) facilities; including but not limited to the firearms ranges, rental firearms, instruction or events, I hereby agree to each of the following terms and conditions of this agreement. I indicate that each question answered has been read, understood and answered truthfully by me. Additionally, to utilize the BCD facilities or rent a firearm you must not be prohibited by any of the following disqualifiers: You must be 18 years of age, with valid governmental photo identification to use the BCD range facilities with your own firearms or rental. To rent BCD firearms you must follow the instructions of the BCD range officers.

1. I have never been convicted of any domestic violence offense.

2. I have never been convicted of a felony.

3. I do not suffer from a physical defect or disease, which would prevent me from safely handling a firearm.

4. I am not presently under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

5. I have never been confined or committed to a mental institution or hospital for treatment or observation of a mental or psychiatric condition on a temporary, interim, or permanent basis.

6. I do not presently have any intention to harm myself or anyone else.

In consideration for being given access to the BCD facilities and/or equipment, and/or programs or events, the undersigned, for himself or herself and his or her heirs, executors and administrators, releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue BCD, and each of its members, officers, managers, employees, agents, or land owners for any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever for personal injury or property damage arising out of the use of the equipment and/or facilities of BCD, or arising from the negligence of BCD, and agrees to hold BCD free, clear and harmless and indemnify BCD from and against any responsibility for any and all claims, demands, actions and causes of action for personal injury or property damage, loss or injury, including

death, that may be sustained by the undersigned, whether caused by the negligence of BCD or otherwise, arising out of all such use of BCD’s properties and facilities.

I acknowledge that as a condition of BCD allowing me to access the BCD facilities and/or equipment, and/or programs or events, I will also be required to follow all safety rules and understand that I may be photographed. The undersigned agrees to be held financially responsible for any willful act of destruction to any part of the BCD facilities or equipment. All firearms rented from BCD must use ammunition purchased from BCD.

RANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. No alcoholic beverages, drugs, or persons who have been consuming those items will be

allowed on the range or premises before or during shooting or handling a firearm.

2. Shooter's glasses or tempered glasses must always be worn while inside the firing area

(Prescription accepted).

3. Hearing protection must always be worn while inside firing area.

4. Children must always be supervised while on premises. Children under the age of 8 will not

be allowed in the firing area.

5. No armor piercing, tracer, steel core, or explosive ammunition will be allowed.

6. Only persons who are actively shooting are allowed inside of the firing area.

7. Only firearms in good working condition are allowed on the firing line. (User is held responsible)

8. No more than two persons are permitted at each firing lane. Coaching may occur at the

permission of range staff.

9. All fired rounds must impact the backstop area. No shooting outside the range limits.

10. All firearms are subject to inspection at any time by staff.

11. All firearms must be always pointed down range or in a safe manner.

12. No shooting pistol steel with rifle ($70 fine for each target)

13. No shooting pistol steel closer than 10 yards.

14. No shooting rifle steel closer than 50 yards.

15. Shoot Steel at your own risk.

16. Take down all paper targets and burn them in designated burn barrels.

17. Do not leave any trash.

18. No shooting after dark.

19. No shooting during a lightning storm.

20. If you are responsible for damaging equipment through negligence, you will pay for it.

21. Always call or text before coming out.

The safe use of firearms dictates that I understand and agree to follow all these instructions:

I WILL TREAT EVERY FIREARM AS IF IT WERE LOADED.
I WILL ALWAYS KEEP THE FIREARM POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
I WILL NOT PLACE MY FINGER ON THE TRIGGER OR IN THE TRIGGER GUARD UNLESS AND UNTIL I AM READY TO FIRE.
I WILL ALWAYS WEAR APPORPRIATE EYE AND EAR PROTECTION.
I WILL NEVER PASS THE FIREARM TO ANYONE WITHOUT OPENING AND KEEPING OPEN CYLINDER OR THE ACTION TO VERIFY THAT IT IS UNLOADED.
I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW THE COMMANDS OF THE RANGE OFFICER AND MANAGEMENT OF BRIGGS CORE DYNAMICS.

Finally, I state that I am familiar with the safe use and operation of any firearm rented, to include loading/unloading, function, recoil management and any other safety issues. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inform BCD staff if I have questions about the use of any rental firearm prior to firing such firearm.
